These are all 100% authentic shells, hand picked off the Carolina Beaches.
They are absolutely perfect for any type of crafting or beach themed inspirations lingering inside of you.
I never use bleach or any harsh chemicals on any of my shells. Shells are rinsed multiple times, however, with soap and water solution, then coated with oil before one last rinse. The oil is used to bring out the shells’ naturally beautiful colors after years of soaking and being washed throughout the salty ocean tides.
I rinse or wash all shells at least a couple times before shipping, however, you may still get a little sand or other beach debris in your bag, although I do try prevent it.
**I do have plenty of shells that have only been rinsed with water and have not been exposed to any soap or oils. Please let me know if these are what you need or prefer at time of order**
These bags weigh approximately 1-1.5 lbs, depending on the types of shells that end up in yours. Obviously some shells weigh more that others. ☺️
With hundreds and hundreds of these beauties, there are more types of seashells than I could even count so you’re guaranteed to get a great mixture. (Also sell only small and large shells separately in my shop)
As seen in some of the pictures, some of the shells you’ll receive may be larger than a golf ball while some will be a fraction of the size of a dime.
All bags contain a mixture of sizes, colors, shapes and a great variety of types of seashells from the shores of the Carolina Coasts.
Please know that I go through and toss any badly damaged shells I find, but because they are authentic and very fragile you may still end up with a few cracked or broken ones.
I do carefully package all orders to hopefully prevent ANY damage to the shells while in transit, however.
I ship all orders within 24 business hours or in the extremely rare occasion I may not be able to do so I will keep the buyer updated.
