I absolutely love and live by these bamboo warp separators! They truly make a world of difference in the tension when warping the loom whether it’s a rigid heddle loom or a shaft loom. Personally, I utilize them on both the back/warp beam and the front/cloth beam and notice the greatest difference when used in both positions. These are used instead of the annoying crinkly paper or constantly dropping slats. The bamboo warp separator is tucked under the edge of the warp threads at the beginning of winding it on and is simply wound on along with the warp threads. This is a very thin, yet sturdy bamboo. When used on the front/cloth beam side, I tuck it in over the knots after tying or lashing on and simply wind it on along with my cloth as I advance my work. I find it even more important to use a bamboo warp separator on the cloth beam side when I’m weaving with textured yarns or patterns that may create a variation in my tension after the weft yarns have been woven. I have these on all my looms! It's pictured on my 24" Kromski Harp Forte rigid heddle loom which is warped with three heddles for weaving a twill pattern.

Therefore, if you order one of the smaller size warp separators, Etsy will most likely overestimate the shipping fees and I will need to refund the overage as the actual shipping and handling fees will probably be less than you were charged.
