Book Stack Decor - Set of 3 Upcycled Hardback Books
Linen white and pink chalk painted hard cover book stack. Each book is hand painted and distressed for an aged, vintage look. The edges are also painted. Tied with an ecru lace.
Perfect shabby chic, French country, Paris apartment, or upscale rustic farmhouse decor to add a special touch to your space!

Set when together: approximately 8 1/2" x 5 3/4 " x 3"
Each book is approximately 1" thick
*Note: Because the books are made to order, each is unique. The photographed books are for a reference only. Slight variations in the distressing of the paint will happen. When remaking this book stack, the books used will be slightly different than what is pictured depending on availability. The books usually range in size from 8 - 9 1/2" x 5 - 6 1/2" x 1/2 - 2" each. We aim to use books close to the ones photographed, but we can't always source the same exact size.
Each book is a separate piece. Lace is removable. You can display with the bound edge or the painted paper edges as a focal point. Shown both ways in the photos.
You can stand the books up, lay them down, or add other books to complement your color scheme, design, etc. You can add small decor items to the top of the books if they are laying down (like a small trinket box or nick knack). For example, the last photo shows the decor books upright with pink books at each end as a design idea (all other books are sold separately).
The stacks are made with otherwise unused hardback books thus repurposed into decor items. These are not meant to be readable due to the techniques we use to create the art piece.
We layer the paint, but you might still be able to see some lettering through the paint (embossed, raised, or indented lettering can be difficult to "erase" completely).
