it's powered by a 4 AAA NIMH rechargeable battery, you need to get a rechargeable battery and charge it, I did use EBL or AMAZON rechargeable battery, you can buy more batteries and charge, battery run time depends on how you use it, its around 2 to 6 hours.
To use the controller, you need to download an app called ZENGGE from the app store, you can change the LED running mode and the speed and the brightness.
the collar has 8 or 9 spikes on it, 8 spikes is 25 inches, 9 spikes is 29 inches, just measure the neck after putting furry head on, to find out which one feeling better.
some color spikes are made with resin, its heavier and cost more than the white 3D printed one.
