KNITTING PATTERN // NOMAD Hood in English/German The NOMAD Hood is a knitted hood with a small shawl collar, a practical and cozy alternative to hats and scarfs. It is worked from top to bottom in Half Fisherman’s Rib stitch pattern, with the “wrong side” of this pattern being on the public side here. The stitches are cast on using 'Judy's Magic CO' and at first the hood is worked back and forth in RS- and WS rows, using the 'magic loop method'. For the shaping of the upper part of the hood, double increases are made at regular intervals, the lower part of the hood is also shaped with double increases and additionally with double decreases. After the hood is finished, the shawl collar is knitted in the round. Finally, the opening at the front is edged with a folded ribbed border.
