This digital pattern is for an overlay mosaic crochet square that can be used in other types of projects, such as blankets, pillows, satchel bags, table mats, etc.
Any yarn or hook will work, depending on the desired size of the finished square. For the example square, I used yarn weight of 4 with a 5.5 hook, which creates a square of 13.5” x 13”. That size uses approximately 4 oz. or 200 yards of yarn, however you can use whatever yarn you like along with the recommended hook.
This digital pattern includes written instructions and a chart, and is written in US crochet terms.
