These stacking storage boxes offer multiple uses and are super handy for organization. They are sized to fit perfectly in the IKEA Billy Book Cases either with or without doors installed. They fit 4 across in the dual width Billy Bookcases to allow for lots of organizational space.
While their main purpose is to help store and organize 15mm and smaller figures (with the custom tray inserts shown in two of the images), they also make great organizers for cards, dice, templates, unpainted figures or bits, tokens, thread, buttons, small parts, and more. Even just the lids are useful as they make excellent transport trays to get figures from your display case to the gaming table and back.
These storage boxes stack with the next box fitting inside the lid of the box below to take up less space in your cupboard and to ensure that they do not slide around while carrying a pile of them around.
The box itself (the base) has external dimensions of 245mm x 183mm x external height shown in chart below. Internal dimensions are 238mm x 175mm x internal height shown in the chart in the gallery.
The lids are the same for all boxes and has external dimensions of 255mm x 190mm x 20mm, with an internal lid height of 8mm.
The complete box therefore takes up 255mm x 190mm x total height shown in chart below, however each additional box stacked on top takes up roughly 8mm less height than it would by itself.
Sold as a kit of 1/8″ (3mm) MDF parts, and is not assembled or painted. Assembles easily with normal wood glue.
This item is for the box and lid only, no insert will be provided.
