Our tufting frames come ready to work. They come from our workshop where the surfaces are machined and made flat, square, and sturdy.
Your fabric can be stretched tight as a drum with double tack strips ALREADY ATTACHED, and strategically placed for the best grip and the best tightness of fabric. We have not just a single strip, but DOUBLE ROWS of tack strips, also for extra grip. Tack strips characteristically have gaps between the points. Using a double row eliminates these gaps. Our tufting frames do not bow in when fabric is stretched tightly.
Long legs provide stability, but we recommend placing the stand near the wall. We added a hand on both sides of the frame so if the frame is positioned against the wall it will be 100% stable, and at the same time you do not need to attach it to the wall or anything else.
Our tufting frames come with heavy duty hardware, and are fully assembled and then partially disassembled for shipping. All the parts are numbered, easy to assemble.
