WHAT YOU WILL RECEIVE:
We specialize in printed backdrops, and no longer sell props (contrary to our name, which we have had since 2010!) You will not receive props with your backdrop order. We craft all of our designs using hand-painted techniques, artificial intelligence, or real-life props put together in sets that are then photographed, and the backdrop printed from the photograph. Your finished product is a beautiful high-quality backdrop that photographs beautifully and withstands the test of time.
HOW YOUR DESIGN WILL LOOK BASED ON THE SIZE YOU ORDER:
All backdrops are measured width x height. The first number is always the width. Backdrops are typically hung horizontal, landscape orientation so they are longer than they are tall. If you order a sweep, these are meant to be hung vertically so that they "sweep" the floor for an all-in-one look that does not require a separate floor. Etsy only allows so many images to be uploaded so if you need to see how a size will crop before ordering, you must message us before placing your order as orders immediately enter the printing queue. We print all backdrops custom made to order, so it's important to be sure you are ordering a size appropriate for your needs, as all sales are final.
POLY PAPER:
Our durable poly-paper is glare-free coated thick paper product and has a quick turnaround time. If you are on a budget but don't want to sacrifice quality, poly paper is where it's at! Poly Paper must be stored rolled to avoid damage and creases.
FABRIC:
Our signature wrinkle-free fabric is wrinkle-free, easily folded for storage and transportation, and has a beautiful matte finish. This super stretchy material can be pulled tight for a flawless finish. It is also printed via dye-sublimation, so it's fully machine washable! If needed, machine wash on cold and tumble dry low.
COLOR DISCREPENCIES:
Colors may vary based on your phone or monitor due to different color profiles. Backdrops ordered to match each other but not ordered at the same time on the same material, will not guaranteed match each other due to different materials absorbing ink differently, or printers being updated/calibrated over time, new ink formulas, etc.
IN-USE IMAGES:
Photographer in-use images will always vary based on that photographer's lighting and editing style. We try to only upload images that best represent the true colors of the backdrop. Many photographers add props into their photoshop to add to the backdrop's look, or transition for a more 3D look. Please pay attention to STOCK images (our watermarked images with NO models in them) to see how the backdrop prints and what exactly prints on it. As a reminder, we do not sell props and props are not part of your purchase. The props shown in the STOCK images are printed on the backdrop.
U.S. SHIPPING:
We are based out of Yucaipa, CA. All backdrops ship via USPS or UPS within the quoted turnaround time. We are not responsible for carrier delays. If your package arrives damaged, please take pictures of the packaging and contact us right away. Do not dispose of anything. Please make sure your shipping address is correct when ordering. Fancy Fabric is not responsible for packages delivered to the wrong location due to customer input error at checkout.
ALL SALES FINAL:
Due to the custom nature of your order, all sales are FINAL. We do not accept returns or exchanges unless your order comes damaged. All damages or defects must be reported within 30 days of receipt to be eligible for a reprint. Orders outside of this window cannot be reprinted. It is important to always open orders upon receipt.
Exception: Fabric backdrops may be exchanged within 30 days of receipt if you wish to UPGRADE size of the exact same design. You will be responsible for shipping cost to send the first backdrop back, and shipping cost and any upgrade costs on the new one. Backdrops must be new/unused.
Poly paper backdrops may not be returned or exchanged due to the high cost and damage liability of shipping.
