ONLY the one painting: "two girls" is sold in this ad! This painting is part of a comprehensive collection, all originals (watercolors and pencil) by the Japanese painter GO (1906-1986).
This large collection includes around 30 paintings measuring approximately 50x35cm, as well as various smaller sketches. Some of these are signed, some are unsigned, some have a date, some have other notes from the painter. We find this to be something very special; it will be hard to find a comparable collection. The collection provides insights into the painter's working method and creative world of thought, who apparently primarily sought to combine Japanese style with Western techniques. His pictures are described by gallery owners as “exciting” and “attractive”. This mixing of forms of expression creates something completely unique and groundbreaking.
We are willing to talk about the price of the entire collection, but it is in the five-figure range per image (some smaller images are in the four-digit range).

The Japanese painter GO (1906-1986) painted oil paintings, watercolors and portraits in chalk. He gained fame in Japan when he was commissioned by the Japanese Imperial Family in 1943 to create an oil painting entitled: "Saint Fuji San", which the Japanese Regent then made a gift to the Thai Crown on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of "Japanese-Thai Friendship". . A higher award is not possible in Japan, which makes this artist's works very valuable.
