This is a completely hand-sewn, beautiful semi-sheer, embroidered, soft chiffon, white wedding canopy. I have purchased this embroidered chiffon fabric from artisans in south-east Asia. I had these fabrics shipped to my home and created this canopy by hand-sewing two soft chiffon fabric panels. The fabric has white embroidered sunflower motifs on it. The hand-sewn join of two fabric panels is covered by a hand-sewn lace. The lace has gorgeous, pearl lace. There are hand-sewn silk tassels on all four sides of this gorgeous wedding canopy.
Embroidery on the fabric has been done using a small hand-held tool called "Aari". Embroidery and hand sewing are done neatly so there is little difference between the front and reverse sides- making this canopy beautiful from both sides. This makes it perfect for use as a wedding canopy - gorgeous for folks looking at it from the top, side, or standing under it. It can also be used as a photo backdrop or framed as a mural.
MATERIAL =soft crinkle chiffon embroidered with soft poly-silk thread.
USAGE = bed canopy, chuppah cover, table cover, or another home decor project.
EXACT SIZE= 82 inches wide x 85 inches long- approximately 7x 7 feet. 3 inches long silk thread tassels on all four sides are not included in the measurements but add to the length and beauty of this article.
CARE = gentle hand wash in cold water with mild detergent, hang dry. Dry cleaning is highly recommended.
