This industrial metal sliding barn door is made from 14 gauge hot rolled steel. This door is hand welded and is built to last. one side of the door is solid sheet metal and the other side is a square tubing frame that gives a panel appearance, you can use either side as the front of the door. It can be customized to several dimensions which can be selected on this listing. We recommend measuring your door way and adding 2 inches to both sides for the width of the door and 2-3 inches to the height of the door.
This door is made from hot rolled steel which gives the door a beautiful, dark, and natural color tone.
We try and hand select the cleanest sheets possible but the occasional scuff mark is to be expected with raw steel. please keep in mind that each sheet will vary in color, tones and patterns. I have included photos of doors in the making to give you an idea. they truly are beautiful. I believe these to be as much an art piece as they are a door.
We put a protective wax coat on our doors that will protect it from rust and damage. we choose wax for its beautiful appearance and easy touch up process for future application if desired.
