A 4” piece is ideal for compact aquariums but may be too small for larger tanks. *DRIFTWOOD PREP: It’s important to prep your driftwood before adding it to your tank depending on the look you’re trying to achieve. If the driftwood floats, soak for a minimum of 24 hours then test, if it continues to float, repeat soaking until it sinks. Tannins are very beneficial for certain applications, but if you’re not interested, boil for a minimum of 2 hrs to allow leaching. *DISCLAIMER: SOME TANNINS MAY STILL BE INTACT EVEN AFTER BOILING! YOU MIGHT NOTICE, AFTER INTRODUCING YOUR WOOD TO THE AQUARIUM, THAT A WHITE “FILM” DEVELOPS, DON’T WORRY, ITS COMPLETELY HARMLESS AND WILL GO AWAY ON ITS OWN! SHIPPING: "Live" plants are our business, so for the sake of the customer, but more importantly the plant, we only ship via USPS Priority Mon-Wed; if purchased after 3pm eastern on Wednesday, your plant will go out the following Monday. If you are someone that simply can't wait that long, I am willing to ship Thursday with conditions. Weekend deliveries can't always be guaranteed so delays are possible, which could in turn be detrimental and lastly, any live guarantee upon arrival is null and void due to too many uncontrollable variables. The plant can arrive smaller, larger, brighter, darker, etc. but please don't worry, I'll only ship the finest specimens available at the time. Quarantine*- We grow plants both submerged and emersed so we simply can't "guarantee" they will be 100% pest and algae free, but we always strive for the best. With that in mind, quarantining your plants is always a good idea, regardless of where you've purchased them. The easiest method is a 20:1 water-bleach dip that "should" rid your plants of any unwanted pests or hitchhikers. If you have any questions, feel free to message me.
