Not that heavy item, but bulky and fragile, which requires large strong box and plenty of packing materials and cushioning hence high shipping cost. Two have been sold in the past and reached customers safely. Stunning well made vintage French glass dish with cloche: bottom dish is very fragile due to it's diameter and I would say thin glass, while cloche/dome is solid and heavy indeed.
To reduce shipping cost, consider getting something else from my shop, which could be packed flat to reduce volume and add some weight, as this parcel is being charged by parcel's large dimensions rather than weight.
Previous identical items didn't spend long time in my shop and had great interest and both gone quite quick.
