I have a custom matching set of laminated calls that I built and have decided to put up for grabs. From cutting and laminating the blanks, to the final finishing touches, everything was completed in our shop. The pots are made of Bloodwood, curly maple, and Wenge. One call has a snakeskin soundboard and matching striker and the other has a stacked feather soundboard with an engraved striker. Both calls are topped with glass playing surfaces and have diamond wood striker dowels. Both calls have been prepped to use and each have their own cadence. I stand behind my work and rest assured these calls not only have the looks, they sound just like a turkey and wouldn’t leave my shop if they didn’t. You will not find another set like this!
These calls can be used in the field, put on display, or be an awesome addition to a collection. I sell a lot of upper end calls for displays but all calls that are built in my shop are intended for use. They make great gifts if you know someone who loves turkey hunting! I do take custom orders so if you like these but want them in a different wood or material please shoot me a message and we will accommodate. I am not a huge outfit nor do I intend to become one. I feel that if I try to build more the quality will decrease and that’s not what I want to do. I got into call building to make great sounding turkey calls, making them pretty while doing that is just a bonus.
