Three coats of Briwax wood wax in a colour of your choice give a final smooth and strokeable finish that still lets the beauty of the wood shine through.

I've been making stuff for my own home out of pallet wood for years, and keep getting told that I should sell it. So here we are! Everything is assembled using screws concealed behind carpenter's filler, so that there are no unsightly screwheads showing when in use.
