These are from 2024 plants! Hosta seeds do not come true to the parent plant, which means you never know what you might get! You can watch their personalities develop as they grow! Hosta come in all shapes and sizes, even a variety of colors, although don't fall for the pinks, bright blues, oranges and other crazy colors they advertise. They come in green, green and white, "blue" grey, pale yellow and a variegation of two colors. Some start off one color and change as they grow. Some change color if planted in the shade, some in mostly sunny. I have a few varieties that have a deep red stem with a "yellow" leaf. That's about as crazy as they get! All shapes of leaves, from round, to heart shape to spear shape. You just don't know. These are a great mix of seeds from over 50 varieties. Check out my pictures above. These were all propagated by me, and the small ones in pots are a year old from seed. Complete instructions with your order. Please note that if these are purchased before December of this year (2024), they will have to be stratified by you.
You’ll get 30+ seeds per packet from a good mix of parent plants (from minis to giants). Seeds are from organically grown plants.
Please let me know if you have difficulty with these seeds. When purchased in the heat of the summer, sometimes the seeds get damaged. I ALWAYS send the seeds out within 1-2 days of ordering.....I cannot control what happens once they leave my post office. If you let me know, I will make things right. I want you to get what you pay for!
