Here is how we are ‘doing the right thing’.
To lower our carbon footprint, for over 16 years we have local suppliers, all less than 1 mile from our workshop.
To lower our energy consumption, we use very few machine hours, every one of our products are hand painted and hand finished.
We use minimal packaging, 98% of which is recyclable and 100% reusable, we dispatch once weekly to reduce courier carbon footprint whenever possible.
With our driftwood products we are governed by what the tide brings in each day in order to create our products, we also collect and reuse plastic within our art pieces. We recycle unwanted timber whenever possible & use wood that has been harvested sustainable and carry the Forest Stewardship Council certificate.
Apart from mirror, which we often upcycle, wood and driftwood are biodegradable and compostable.
