This a RARE succulent. It grows beautifully in a hanging pot. Please note the plant in The first picture was obtained from the internet.
Cotyledon pendens is a unique trailing succulent of pistachio green leaves. Its fleshy, teardrop-shaped leaves have a powdery, glaucous coating and take on bright red margins when grown in direct sunlight. The stems branch freely and can grow into a thick cascade up to 2’ long. It is also called Cliff Cotyledon because in the wild, it grows hanging from cliff crevices in South Africa where it receives full sun and summer rainfall. This miniature plant has large, bell-shaped blooms striped in coral and white.
Cotyledon care: Needs porous soil, bright light. Pendens grows well in a sandy-gritty, well-draining soil mix. Water thoroughly when soil is dry.

Succulent Care
Be sure to use a well-drained soil such as cactus mix. They need bright light, but be cautious with full sun in hotter climates. Always transition plants slowly into sun, morning sun or partial sun to start, moving into more in 6-8 days, depending on your unique climate.
Succulents must dry out between waterings, but water fully, to the point the water runs out the bottom of the pot. Do not allow water to sit if you use a saucer beneath the plant pot. Don't water again until soil is completely dry. Watch closely to learn best practices, given your climate and growing conditions.
