This listing is for NINE antique hardcover books written by Mark Twain and published as the "Harper and Brothers Edition" by P.F. Collier in 1917. Each volume has an illustration before the title page. The books do show some wear to spines and corners but all pages seem to be in place and without marks. There is age darkening to pages and a couple of the books have page stacks that are pulling away inside the binding. The books are about 8" tall and the stack of nine is about 14" thick.
The books included are: The Prince and the Pauper; Pudd'nhead Wilson; The $30,000 Bequest Etc.; Huckleberry Finn; Tom Sawyer Abroad Etc.; The Adventures of Tom Sawyer; The American Claimant Etc.; The Man That Corrupted Hadleyburg Etc.; and A Connecticut Yankee Etc.
