Fair vintage, played with condition with lots of signs of play, wear and repair. There is chipped paint on all pieces, broken wood on the corner of the engine roof and to the side of the engine compartment, the caboose is missing wheels. Cracked plastic on the front scoop of the engine and other signs of wear, age, and paly not mentioned. Regardless, this quality made toy remains functional.
