The patches come with Industrial Strength "Iron-On" adhesive that's very easy to use:
1. Prepare the Surface
• Choose a clean, flat, and heat-resistant surface for your project, such as an ironing board.
• Ensure the fabric is clean, dry, and free from wrinkles.
2. Position the Patch
• Place the patch in your desired location with the adhesive side (back side) facing the fabric.
• Adjust its placement to ensure proper alignment.
3. Protect the Patch
• Place a thin piece of cloth or parchment paper over the patch to protect it and the fabric from direct heat.
4. Set the Iron
• Preheat your iron to the “cotton” or medium-high heat setting. (Do not use steam; ensure the steam setting is off.)
5. Apply Heat
• Press the iron firmly onto the cloth-covered patch for 20-30 seconds.
• Apply steady pressure without moving the iron back and forth.
(Flip and repeat steps 3,4,5 on backside)
6. Check the Adhesion
• Carefully lift the cloth to check if the patch is securely attached.
• If the edges are not fully adhered, repeat the process for another 10-15 seconds.
7. Let It Cool
• Allow the patch to cool completely for the adhesive to set properly.
8. Optional Reinforcement
• For extra durability, especially on frequently washed or stretched items, sew around the edges of the patch.
