A fabulous bronze necklace by the Modernist Finnish designer Hannu Ikonen for Valo-Koru, Finland. It is from his series named Renmoosblüte which means Reindeer Moss. It is sculpted from fine bronze and is rare as it has green and gold glass enamel within the cups. The bronze chain has been replaced in the past but adheres to the principles of the original design and works beautifully with it. It is a great example of 1970’s Modernist jewellery from Finland, by a highly respected designer. A stunning piece :)

I try to describe my vintage and antique items as best as my knowledge allows, but please study the pictures carefully as they form part of the description. I do not over clean my jewellery as many will prefer the old patina. I spend many hours hunting for unusual antique and vintage items or pieces that I think my customers will love, and I do extensive research to try and give accurate descriptions.
If you are unhappy with your purchase, please get in touch so that I can resolve things for you :) I will happily refund you if the item you purchase is not as described, but please be sure you are happy to buy your chosen item from photographs, as it takes so much time to do a return from overseas and you will have to cover the return postage.
I send my more expensive items tracked and insured. Often I pay more for this than my customer pays me. I try to keep postage costs to a minimum but it’s expensive these days and I need to make sure we are covered for any losses so that a customer can always be refunded quickly if something gets lost in the post. For high value items I now insure with an independent insurer and cover this cost myself.
I am occasionally having problems sending parcels in to the EU. Some countries are charging huge amounts for Customs Tax which is payable once the parcel arrives. Sometimes it's just too expensive and customers cannot afford to accept the parcel and pay the Tax. So if you are in the EU please check your countries possible customs charges before you buy. And allow longer for delivery as many EU countries are taking a long time to process packages from outside the EU.
I will be voting to rejoin the EU as soon as we are given the opportunity. I Love Europe and I am a European :)
I'm sorry I can't insure items sent to Australia with the Royal Mail at the moment as I cannot get insurance from the Post Office due to Aus Post rules about posting jewellery. I am happy to send with private insurance for £5 extra, but please let me know so that I can add this to the item listing, otherwise the items will be sent at your own risk.
