***IS THE ELASTIC DURABLE?***
The elastic is 1mm and is intended for jewelry making. I finish off the elastic with a triple knot and then I apply jewelry glue to the knot before hiding it in a bead. I also always do what I call "the stretch test" and I have yet to be able to break the elastic. Now, that said, I can't guarantee it will never break but it won't break easily!
