THIS IS AN EDGE TO EDGE MEASUREMENT OF THE SLIP. ***Many in the knife community have asked for a list of all of the sizes l offer in these slips. This is great option for knife enthusiasts that have an idea of the size they are needing. Maybe if you bought a slip in the past for a knife, then purchased a new knife and tried it in your old slip. Maybe it was almost long enough. Some people may know the size they need. SOME KNIVES MAY TARNISH OR PATINA WHEN STORED FOR A LONG PERIOD OF TIME (LIKE MY OLD BUCK 110 STORED IN THE BELT SHEATH FOREVER.) CLEAN AND OIL YOUR KNIVES ACCORDING TO THE MANUFACTURERS RECOMMENDATIONS.

HANDMADE WITH NATURAL MATERIAL:
I MAKE HANDMADE LEATHER SLIPS WITH LEATHER. LEATHER IS A NATURAL MATERIAL. ONE PART OF A HIDE MAY BE SLIGHTLY SOFTER THAN THE OTHER. ONE SLIP MAY BE SLIGHTLY SOFTER THAN THE OTHER. EVERY SLIP WILL LOOK SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT, FEEL DIFFERENT, AND BE UNIQUE. SOFTER LEATHER AND HAND STITCHING MEANS A SLIP MAY FIT SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT. MAYBE THE KNIFE WILL BE A LITTLE HARDER TO INSERT IN ONE SLIP VS. THE OTHER SLIP. LEATHER HAS A TWO WEEK BREAK IN PERIOD LIKE A BASEBALL GLOVE. THE SLIP WILL BEGIN TO LOOK MORE NATURAL WITH THE PROFILE OF YOUR KNIFE. I PERSONALLY LIKE TO USE A WOODEN SPOON TO STRETCH MY SLIPS THAT ARE A LITTLE TIGHTER THAN EXPECTED IN THE BEGINNING.
LEATHER COLORS VARY THROUGHOUT THE LEATHER HIDE. IT'S NATURAL.
