The Story:
It’s 1985, and real estate developer and “entrepreneur” Whit Wiley has just cut the ribbon opening the newest marvel in his shopping mall empire: the Wiley Waterside Galleria Mall in Malibu. Whit was to top the Forbes list of most rich and powerful men of 1985 - until he washed up in the mall fountain, strangled by his skinny tie.
Who could be responsible for the murder of this influential businessman? Was it his first wife Willhemina Wiley, seeking revenge for Whit Wiley's many extramarital affairs? Was it local super-shopper Connie Sumer, angry over the Galleria’s inflated scrunchie prices? Or was it fashion designer Cal Von Cline, who objected to Wiley's appallingly gaudy bad taste?
Time to whip out that credit card and tease that hair as big as it can go - we’re shopping for a murderer in 80’s Mall Murder Madness!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
How many people can play?
This murder mystery party is designed to be played by 4-20 people. ALL 20 roles have full motives and ANY of the characters could be the murderer. You can also play with more than 20 players by adding guests as “detectives” who participate by asking questions each round and guessing who the killer is at the end.
How do you play?
Great question. You can read a thorough rundown of how to play here: https://www.broadwaymurdermysteries.com/how-to-play
Can I play virtually via video chat?
You bet! We created a whole new set of rules and instructions to be able to play via video chat, including how best to assign the murderer so that the host does not know who it is.
What do I actually get when I buy this?
You will receive all the files needed to host and run your murder mystery party as a digital download. You’ll then be able to easily print the files and play as many times as you like! You will also receive a link to the “Evidence” video narrated by a Broadway performer.
Can you play more than once?
Absolutely! We’ve created this game to be played over and over again, because the murderer always changes! Use your “Who Did It Slips” to assign a new murderer each time you play! Plus, the answers to the questions each round are different based on whether or not the character is guilty! We also created a special tool to use when playing virtually that assigns the murderer secretly at random here: https://www.broadwaymurdermysteries.com/assign
How long does it take to play?
We estimate 1-1.5 hours, depending on how you structure your evening.
