I enjoy using my iPad for performances but didn't want a pedal for page-turning. I found a small Bluetooth button called "Flic" that worked for page-turning. I designed my first adapter in 2020 and haven't looked back since!
This product began its life on trombone and has since expanded to trumpet through research done on my Master's document with Dr. Dave Turnbull at Washington State University. A huge thank you to Dr. Nairam Simoes at Arkansas State University for directly influencing this particular model. Each one is 3D printed, and it attaches to any of the valves in their casing.
Flic-Grip is offered in exclusively champagne gray. This color was chosen because it blends well with silver and brass instruments.
As this is a 3D-printed part, there will be some layer lines and minor imperfections. Each part has to be separated from supports that help it print correctly, and this is not a perfect process, but I try my best on each!
This model has not met a trumpet it doesn't fit! However, if you have issues, please feel free to reach out. I am more than willing to create a custom version that will fit your horn. My policy is: "I'll make anything if you can provide photos and measurements."
