OpenOffice Calc is a free spreadsheet software that works like MS Excel. You can download Apache OpenOffice software products free here. https://www.openoffice.org/product/index.html . I have been using OpenOffice products on my PC for years.
If you own MS Excel, then you can just use the Excel formatted files.

I have home educated my children for 13 years. This is the exact transcript format that I used for my 2 recent high school graduates when they applied to colleges and universities. I really love the ease of reading and being able to highlight the student's course of study by subject. However, most colleges and universities require a transcript by year. So, I created a transcript that does both in one easy to read high school transcript. I have been told by a large university admissions director that my transcript and other official documents (such as school profile) are the best he has ever seen. Other universities and colleges admissions and scholarship reviewers have told me that my documents included everything needed and easy to read. My personal student's transcripts have been sent and accepted to several universities and colleges. My daughter was accepted to University of Florida, FSU, UNF, UGA, Univ. of SC, Clemson University, Furman University, and Hillsdale College using this same transcript format. My son was accepted to University of Florida, FSU, UNF, Clemson University, and Georgia Tech using this same transcript format. My daughter and son received several scholarships using this transcript format. The U.S. Air Force also accepted my son's transcript in this format where he receive a 4-year college scholarship through the Air Force ROTC while a senior in high school.
You can create multiple student transcripts from this template - as many as you personally need.
