Gourmet Lavender Simple Syrup
This syrup is made with freshly harvested lavender grown in my herb garden, water and sugar, one small batch at a time. To get a true lavender flavor, it has been infused for 24 hours. It has a gentle lavender flavor with small particles of lavender remaining in the syrup. Please shake before use to disperse the particles and refrigerate after opening, as there are no additives or preservatives added.This is a simple syrup with the intention of it being used to add to your iced tea, lemonade, soda or your favorite cocktail. Please note, dependent on the time of the season, the color of the syrup varies.
Sparkling Lavender Lemonade:
Mix 4 parts soda, 2 parts lemon juice, 1 part Lavender Simple Syrup and serve over ice.

The Lavender Mojito
8-10 mint leaves
1 oz. Lavender Simple Syrup
1 1/2 oz. White Rum
Juice of 1/2 Lime
Lime ring
Mint sprig
In a cocktail shaker, muddle the mint leaves and the simple syrup until well pulverized. Add rum and lime juice in shaker with ice. Shake vigorously and strain over fresh ice in a tall glass. Top with seltzer water or if sweeter is preferred, lemon/lime soda. Garnish with a lime ring and mint sprig. Enjoy.
The Lavender Martini
2 oz. Vanilla Vodka
1 oz. Lavender Simple Syrup
1/2 oz. Freshly squeezed Lemon Juice
Fresh Lavender Sprig
Combine vodka, lemon juice and simple syrup in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake vigorously and strain into a martini glass. Garnish with a sprig of lavender. Enjoy!
Lemon Lavender Gin Fizz
2 oz. Gin
1/2oz. lemon juice
1 oz. Heirloom Gourmet Lavender Simple Syrup
1 egg white (or 2 oz. pasteurized egg whites from a carton)
Club Soda
Combine gin, lemon juice, simple syrup and egg white in a cocktail shaker without ice. Shake vigorously and strain over fresh ice in a tall glass. Top with club soda and garnish with a lavender sprig. Enjoy!
