What is needed for this pattern
~ 150-300g of dk or 4ply yarn
~ 20-80g of an additional yarn colour (of a similar weight)
~ 2.5-3.5mm hook (depending on your yarn thickness, I would go for a ~ 0.5-1 mm smaller than your yarn recommends)
~ Scissors
~ Needle
~ A measuring tape
Who is this pattern for?
This is a beginner to intermediate pattern, and as long as you are comfortable with filet and surface crochet you will be able to make this vest, making it a pretty universally accessible pattern.
There is also some basic maths involved (this doesn’t extend past addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, and all maths is clearly outlined and explained). The maths used for sizing was described as easy to follow by pattern testers.
