For the most accurate size, measure with a flexible measuring tape or piece of string measured against a ruler. Add about a .5” inch to your measurement, and order that size for a comfortable fit. While sterling silver will never truly lose its silver color, it can oxidize(or turn black). It can be polished to be restored to its silver color, but a few preventative measures will help slow down the oxidation process. To prevent tarnish as much as possible, it is best to avoid bathing, swimming, exercising, and chemicals(such as lotion, hairspray, and cleaning supplies). Store it in a sealed bag or box in a cool, dry place. *Please note that the letter charm is silver plated not sterling silver, and will tarnish over time. However, it can easily be removed!
