Hand made from pewter scrap.
Material: Lead free pewter. I do not recommend that this item is worn in water or exposed to chemicals such as perfumes, lotions and cleaning products. Pewter will oxidise (blacken) over time, it can be polished with an inexpensive sunshine cloth. However, over-polishing may alter the finished look of the piece.

PROCESS
Pewter is heated and poured onto a cold surface to form balls.
The ball is then placed into a steel impression die and a hydraulic press is used to create the impression.
The edges of the pendant are smoothed.
A hole is drilled in the top.
The pendant is oxidised and the patina is removed by buffing.
The pendant is tumbled in a barrel polisher before being hung from a 22” stainless steel chain with a jump ring.

Hendrix and Rogue is an independent jewellery brand run by me, Christy from my home in Surrey. The name comes from the names of my two children (my creativity has limitations.) When the boys were born I had to find a way to work around being a single mum. I left my prison psychology job of a decade and taught myself how to smith watching youtube videos. I have built myself a workshop and my aim is to be learning and challenging myself constantly. I wont make anything I wouldn't wear myself and I'm always open to custom ideas.
