ā¬ļøInstructions on How to Iron On a Patch to Clothingā¬ļø
Step 1: Prepare the Fabric
Lay the clothing on the ironing board or a flat, hard surface. Make sure the fabric is clean and dry. Iron the garment to remove any wrinkles.
Step 2: Position the Patch
Place the patch in your desired location on the clothing, with the adhesive side facing down towards the fabric.
Step 3: Prepare the Iron
Set the iron to a temperature appropriate for the fabric (usually a medium heat or "cotton" setting). Do not use steam ā keep the steam function off.
Step 4: Ironing the Patch
Cover the patch with a thin cloth or piece of cotton fabric to protect both the patch and the fabric from direct contact with the iron.
Place the iron on the cloth and press down firmly on the patch for 20-30 seconds. Do not move the iron while pressing ā keep it in one place to allow the patch to adhere properly.
Step 5: Check Adhesion
After the time has passed, gently lift a corner of the patch to check if itās sticking well. If the adhesive isnāt fully attached, repeat the ironing process for another 10-15 seconds.
Step 6: Cool Down
Once youāve finished ironing, wait a few minutes for the patch and fabric to cool down. This allows the adhesive to fully bond with the fabric.
Step 7: Final Check
Check if the patch is securely attached. If any corner is lifting, press it again with the iron for a few more seconds.
