The size of the transfer is the longest side INCLUDING any wording or personalization.
We have transfers available for sublimation(polyester) OR cotton garments! The cotton transfers can be applied to other colors besides white, unlike sublimation transfers! Just choose from the drop down if this is what you would like.

----->REGARDING SUBLIMATION TRANSFERS<--------
Sublimation ink is meant for polyester material. It is recommended that your garment is LIGHT in color, has at least 50% polyester. Pressing onto 100% polyester will result in the most vibrant, colorful design. Anything less than 65% will result in a vintage/faded look that many people desire.
----->REGARDING COTTON TRANSFERS<-------
These are NOT printed HTV or screen prints, however they are applied to the top of the garment like HTV. Unlike sublimation these transfers to not dye the fibers of the material, but actually sit on top of the shirt. There is a "feel" to the transfers once applied to the garment, however in our opinion, it is less thick and bulky than printed HTV.
These transfers are printed with professional grade equipment and can be applied to cotton, poly, or blends. They do adhere to the top of the garment. A full instruction sheet as well as a sample transfer to practice with are given with each purchase.
Sizes of transfers are approximate and can vary depending on the design. The designs can fluctuate, give or take .5 inch. When selecting from the drop down, the largest side of the design will be the design size.
