Very beautiful and rare Seiko vintage from 1970's, hard to find such a great original condition watch as high accuracy twin quartz (please read the explanation below) with a beautiful dark blue dial and all original. The bracelet can be easily adjusted max 22 cms wristle.Dial may seem black in pictures, but it's actually dark blue.Day and date working perfectly, new battery has been placed.

A great piece of quartz watch history..The Seiko 99xx series movements launched in 1978 as a new level of accuracy, and the movements were graded in accuracy of seconds per year rather than seconds per day. At the very top end the 9983 found in the Superior models were 5 seconds per year, the 9943 found in the Grand Quartz were 10 seconds per year, and the 9923 in the King Seiko were 20 seconds per year. The Superior models cost four times as much as the King Seiko, for less than a tenth of a second a day! For comparison a standard new quartz movement might lose 1-2 seconds a day.
