Beautiful bicolour Agate bangle. It is between pink and purple colour with natural lace patterns. It is hard to photography and I did my best to show you how beautiful it is. However, no matter how hard I try still couldn't show the full colour and patterns of this beautiful stone. You will be amazed by its beauty when holding it on your hands.
Agate occurs in a wide range of colors, which include brown, white, red, gray, pink, black, and yellow. The colors are caused by impurities and occur as alternating bands within the agate. The different colours were produced as groundwaters of different compositions seeped into the cavity.
The different between Agate and Chalcedony: Chalcedony includes Carnelian, Chrysophase, Agate, Bloodstone, Jasper and others. When Chalcedony in concentrically banded it is called an Agate. Occasionally the banding is larger than the crystal and the banding is not visible- like with most Carnelian. Sub-variety of Chalcedony is opaque quartz called Jasper.
Due to the stones are naturally formed by our mother nature, we cannot avoid the tiny imperfections sometimes shown on the surface. However, the imperfection makes its unique and beauty.
