🌈 Put the cutting with its cut side down in approximately 3" - 4" of permeable or porous potting soil. The potting soil should be on the sandy side to ensure good drainage for the cutting. Place the newly potted cutting in a spot with indirect sunlight. When leaves form, you can slowly acclimate them to direct sun. Plumerias grow best in moderate temperatures between 65 degrees F to 90 degrees F. It will become dormant during the winter months and active again when spring arrives. If you want to fertilize, you can use a fertilizer that is high in phosphate, which protects branch growth and blooming flowers.
