Letting go of a great full frame DSLR. This camera has only served well and will make the next owner a great tool for their photography or video efforts.
It has performed flawlessly for several years and has a high shutter count(see pictures for count). I am a member of Canon Professional Services and their recommendation is to keep shooting. It will cost just over $200 to replace if it comes to that but some people have doubled or even more than that on these cameras. Sports photography requires, for me at least, a lot of pictures. You can also DYI if you want. Shutters are not expensive if you have "a certain set of skills."
The rubber ring around the mode ring is loose on one side. It still works perfectly but you can see it in the images. Canon could repair that easily enough also. You can buy the part online as well and DYI.
The battery is brand new from Best Buy. The old one wouldn't hold a charge for long.
It comes with two lenses. One, the EF 50 1.8 STM is a great lens and works perfectly. I may still have the box but don't count on it. I'll dig around and if I find it you will get it. I used this lens once or twice before shelving because I shoot with a 70-200 f2.8 and I also use a EF 50 1.2 as a walk around lens for great low light images. Comes with front cap. Can't find the rear cap or the camera body cap. If I do I'l include them but don't plan on it in case I don't find them.
Second, I'm also including a Sigma EX 85mm 1.4 DG HSM that needs a new front element. It belonged to a friend who did two foolish things with it. scratched the front element, then tried to buff it out. I spoke with Sigma and they can repair it for 350ish but the lens is only worth 450 used so I'll just pass it on. You can actually find the front element for sale fairly reasonably and if you are confident in your skills perhaps make a great lens work again. It is sold as is in this listing. Comes with front cap and a strange screw on lens hood. The rear cap is not included even though it is seen in the pictures. It belongs to another lens but I don't like leaving them off when not in use so I put it on this one.
