Why a candle made of rapeseed wax?
- warm natural color, which gives every candle that certain something
- less soot than other candles
- cleaner combustion due to less soot formation
- thanks to its low melting point, it usually burns twice as long as conventional paraffin
What justifies the price?
- Wax is produced in Germany, therefore no long transport routes via containers etc.
- naturally renewable, made from the rapeseed plant
- free from minerals and toxins
- completely biodegradable
- cruelty-free and vegan
- fewer fertilizers and pesticides when growing rapeseed, therefore potentially less environmental impact
Environmental concerns are a top priority for me, which is why I also use packaging and filling materials that are donated to me by factories in the area.
Otherwise, it would end up directly in the trash at the companies.
This way, the packing material can be used again and my candles can be safely transported to their new owner.
