This beautiful Art Deco bedroom set includes the vanity, vanity bench, Bed Frame and all its components [Headboard/footboard/Rails/side extenders to utilize a full or queen size bed] and a tall chest of drawers. This set is a Bassett Mfg Co. and dated to Sept. 12, 1951 (see pic).
Mattress, bedding and wall art shown are NOT included.
The finish is original and in excellent condition. The wood finish has original patina is still from the 1950s but previous owners refreshed once a year with wax for the last 33 years. This beautiful set has all its original wooden inlays and original hardware still in pristine condition.
Some previous veneer damage due to normal wear on set. There are minor defects due to age and use. Some veneer damage to bench has been repaired. The mirror has minor defects due to age. Please refer to pictures and video. Any additional pictures or video are available upon request.
Drawers have been treated inside with Howard’s beeswax wood conditioner.
Original glass tiles have been removed but saved. Original glass tiles were damaged beyond repair. All old materials will be shipped with set. New Glass tiles on mirror have just been placed with its own sticky back and can be easily removed. I am leaving it up to new owner to decide on the finish of the glass tiles. These can be made permanent upon request.
