The Rolkem Lumo Gels are ready to use as a quick and easy paint straight from the bottle and work great for the "splatter" effect. They can also be mixed into several mediums. When mixing in, I recommend using a neon food coloring first for the base, THEN adding the gel for the glow effect - this will help you use less product. This is not a requirement, just a suggestion :) *DO NOT MIX GELS INTO CHOCOLATE, IT WILL SEIZE*
The Rolkem Lumo Dusts are the most versatile. The dusts can be dry dusted onto a set surface or reconstituted with Rolkem Quick Dry Essence to create a paint/paste for decorating where the artist controls the viscosity. They can also be mixed/kneaded into countless mediums (i.e. fondant, icing, modeling chocolate, isomalt, bread/cookie dough, melted chocolate, etc.). When mixing in, I do recommend using a true neon food coloring first for the base, THEN adding the dust for the glow effect - this will help you use less product. This is not a requirement, just a suggestion :) An immersion blender can also be used to help distribute the color evenly without clumps/specks.
