About freshwater pearls:
Freshwater pearls are lustrous, organic gemstones produced by freshwater mussels. These pearls are cultivated predominantly in China, where innovative farming techniques have allowed for the mass production of high-quality pearls. Freshwater pearls naturally have different colors, including white, pink, lavender, and peach/apricot and any colors in between, such as pinkish white. If you rub two freshwater pearls together, there is a sandy feeling. Since freshwater pearls are not man-made, they are rarely in perfect shape. A single perfectly-round freshwater pearl can be very expensive.
About freshwater star pearls:
Freshwater pearls can be made with different shapes by inserting a certain-shaped nucleus into the mussel. The mussel secretes nacre around the nucleus, gradually forming the pearls into the desired shapes.
About stainless steel:
Stainless steel has become a popular material in jewelry making due to its remarkable durability, resistance to tarnish, and modern aesthetic appeal. Unlike precious metals such as gold and silver, stainless steel is highly resistant to corrosion, rust, and oxidation, making it an ideal choice for everyday wear and ensuring longevity. Its hypoallergenic properties make it suitable for individuals with sensitive skin.

About the color:
Freshwater pearls naturally come in different colors, such as pink (shown in the main picture), apricot, white, and purple. However, it is very natural for the pearl to have multiple colors in different shades (such as greenish purple, or one section in darker purple and one section in lighter purple), so it is very difficult to say exact what the real color is. I can only briefly sort the colors in three: white (could be with different undertone), apricot, and purple (could be darker or lighter or half darker and half lighter). When I pick the star, I want to make sure the shape is good, but I can't guarantee the star looks exactly like the pictured one. Please be aware.
Length:
The length is measured NOT including the dangling "I" section. The dangling "I" section is approximately 1 inch long. The dangling "I" section can be adjusted by pulling the chain, so it can be made longer or shorter. For example, you want the "V" to sit on your collar bones, so that will be 16 inches, and you want the "I" to be longer, say, 5 inches, then you'll order 16+5-1=20. (If you don't know how to do the math, please message me). If you need other lengths, please let me know.
Care instructions:
Store the pearl jewelry in cloth/velvet bag instead of a sealed plastic bag. Pearls need to breathe. Avoid water and other chemicals. Chemicals in water can ruin the luster.
