Walk down the village square and become a part of the rustic holiday scenery in your long santa hat, handmade in the wintery midwest by the designer herself. Grab your mug of warmth, whether a peppermint mocha or a dark hot chocolate, and trail down the cobblestone paths in your cozy santa hat with nordic warmth and holiday cheer. The holiday spirit will emanate all around you- everyone stopping to pause, to catch a glimpse of who is wearing this festive santa hat like no other. The brim is stitched with little snowball bobbles, disappearing into a long cascade of cranberry tides down to a large matching handmade fluffy pom pom. You see, I try to do everything I can to make this the highest quality hat you can gift to yourself or to another that will last for many memories to wear season after season, from holiday parties, to the first snowfall, to welcoming the new year.
I will be taking great care in making your hat. The wonderful lady (grandmama) who taught me to crochet as a child, also instilled a great work ethic in me. When she taught me to crochet, if there was even one error, I had to rip it out, even if the error was all the way back on the very first stitch. As a master craftster and seamstress, she instilled a great foundation within me. Ladies of that time took great pride in their workmanship, as do I. This is the care I will be taking with your hat. I want you to know that it was professionally made by someone who truly cares what you think. If my grandmother were to pass you by and ask to see your hat, I know she would inspect it and hand it back with an affirmative nod saying, "this is good work."
Note: Please do not wait and get your order in as soon as you can! Until Santa lends me some elves, I am limited to how many hats my hands can make, especially once the holiday season arrives!

Measure from front of forehead, to back of head right above ears, back to front of forehead again. Measurement in parentheses below is the head circumference range that size will fit (Not clothing size).

2024: Please order as early as possible! Since I make these myself, I can only make so many hats each year, especially once the holiday season arrives. Each year I wait for Santa to send me some elves to help me out, but until then, please order as soon as you are able!
2023: 11/30/23 I am now filled for orders for Christmas delivery this year. So sorry! As many know, I can only make so many hats each season (until Santa lends me some of his elves that is!) Orders made after this date will be sent after the Christmas holiday in order of receipt, as I know many like to wear during the new year, and some like to get in their order for next year. A tinkerer of the mind, even as a child I always had explosions of ideas, wanting to create. An intrinsic love for color, fabric working with my hands and ironically mathematics naturally turned into a career of designing crochet patterns and pattern grading. I started designing in 1999 and opened the Crochet Garden in 2005. Years later, I have won awards, had crochet books published, and had numerous designs published in books and magazines. Vogue Knitting once wrote an article on one of my designs, and when I need a little lift, I just open up to that page:). If you happen through a magazine aisle you may spot a few of my latest designs.
