ABOUT THIS LISTING:
Gorgeous 3ct boulder opal mined in Winton, Queensland, Australia. This is a natural, solid opal. We do not sell doublets, triplets or synthetic opals.
Please refer to the listing photographs for measurements of the stone in millimeters. Our opals are cut to follow the natural undulations so the base and/or the surface of the stone may not be perfectly flat and the depth does vary.
The photos have been taken with a macro lens which greatly enlarges the item to highlight the fine detail (and any flaws and/or imperfections) in the stone. Please enlarge and study the photos carefully as they form part of the description. Opal can look very different depending on the angle & lighting in which you view it. All our photos are taken outside in natural sunlight & shade. Please note that computer and phone screens all differ and may display the colours slightly differently.
IMPORT CUSTOMS DUTIES/VAT:
We are legally required to complete all customs declarations honestly. On ALL international orders the customs form will show the item/s as ‘Merchandise’ and the full purchase price will be declared. WE CANNOT MARK AN ITEM AS A ‘GIFT’ OR DECLARE A LESSER VALUE ON THE CUSTOMS FORM. All import duties and/or taxes are the responsibility of the buyer. As each country has different tax calculations, it is the buyer’s responsibility to determine whether they will be charged VAT/import taxes on items purchased from Australia and, if so, the amount that will be charged. Orders sent to an Australian address will be sent via parcel post. Postage upgrades are available at checkout.
