Vintage Victorian Barbie Deluxe Dream House 1998 #18638 (Mattel). Made in Mexico. This beautiful fold-up Barbie house is in a classic Victorian style and comes with wicker style furniture. The house is modeled after the 1995 Barbie Dream House and is predominately white with mint and pink accent colours. I personally love the stained glass windows in the upstairs bathroom (that has a fold-down bath) and the front door and then of course the cute swing that is meant for a Kelly doll. This house has a manual lift. By rotating the crank, the lift moves up and down. The detailing of this house is beautiful with all the floral details and the cute flower box by the upstairs window looking out on the balcony. This house as mentioned includes the pictured furniture as well as accessories. This house was previously played with and is considered "used". Flaws are as follows: Some of the original accessories that came with the house are missing. Chip in front lace of porch. The front door broke off and was fixed with superglue (door opens fine). Two clips that are on the bathroom side top floor broke off but the house is still sturdy (the top floor has a supportive pillar underneath it) even with those not being present. Piece of the bottom floor panel broke off. One of the lace details is missing above the fire place side of the house. Various scuff marks on floors. Oven door is broken. Sun fading on the side of the top floor right side front and on the left side of the house by the stained glass window. The clip where the bath folds down broke off and was glued back on. The dining room set has clips missing in parts. The table is loose and needs to be glued together. Fire cover was broken in two and was glued back together. Stickers of flower pots are peeling. 1 window curtain is missing but rod is present. 1 Pot plant is missing its original plant. Crack in back left top folding panel (see photo). Tissue box has chew marks. Peeling of sticker on one photo frame. Peeling of one sticker on swing. Sticker was never applied properly so overlaps. Swing "ropes" are bent but can be reshaped by putting in hot water (message me for information on this technique). The original door to the house was damaged and I added another door (exact same door) to the house. The door with the damaged stained glass is included. The house will be shipped in its original box and I have used a glue gun to secure the top and bottom of the box. The bottom of the box has also been taped with shipping tape. I have made every effort to protect the house during transit. I cannot be held responsible for any damage that occurs due to mail carriers not handling the house with care but I have ensured that the house has been labeled as being fragile. The box has been been wrapped in brown parcel paper. All the furniture items have been bubble wrapped and I have secured parts of the house with painters tape to prevent shifting during transit.
