The sensitive plant is a unique species that responds to touch. Its leaves will close up individually if touched lightly and if it feels a stronger touch the whole leaf will fold up and appear to wilt. The leaves will reopen within 10 minutes if left alone. When mature the sensitive plant can have bright pink pom-pom like flowers.
Sold in quantities of 25 seeds. These Mimosa pudica seeds were harvested from my own Mimosa pudica plant.
Seed starting steps:
- Soak seeds overnight in warm water
- Seed planting depth 1/4 inch
- Place in warm location
- keep seeds constantly moist
