Developed in collaboration with real-world Boeing pilots, this set allows you to accurately replicate Twin-Engine Boeing procedures, emergency maneuvers and standard operations to the highest degree.
Thrust Levers:
The thrust levers features 1:1 Scale and accurately modeled 737 throttle and reverser handles, with A/T Disconnect, TOGA and Reverser functionality. The true size throttle handles allows for a full palm grip on the handles versus the finger grips on the stock commercial levers. Hidden notch locks out the bottom detent of the Bravo to prevent inadvertent movement past idle!
Flap System:
The flap lever features a lift system. It is pulled out and pushed into the next flap position.
On the flap detent gate, there are detent stops at positions 1 and 15, as in the real aircraft. The position 1 gate stop is to prevent premature retraction beyond 1, to retain controllability at lower speeds in emergency situations like single-engine Go-Around. The position 15 gate stop is to prevent inadvertent retraction beyond 15 in a twin-engine Go-Around. As in the real aircraft, deliberate engagement at the gate stops are required in order to pass.
Speedbrake System:
The speedbrake lever also features the lift system, which needs to be pulled up and out to arm the speedbrake, as in the real aircraft. It cannot access the speedbrake range without being pulled up and out first, to prevent inadvertent engagement. There is a push-through detent at the ARMED position as well as a hard lift stop at the FLIGHT DETENT position. Furthermore, the detents are designed so that moving the lever in the direction of retraction will not engage any of the detents. This is to replicate emergency maneuvers and operations to the highest degree, for example when executing a terrain escape maneuver. In this maneuver, the speedbrake is to be immediately moved to the fully retracted position, and then wiggled back and forth to verify that it has been locked in the retracted UP position. The whole procedure can be fully replicated true to real life with this design.
