The Ritual:
- let’s get started: drizzle a quarter-sized amount of cleansing oil onto your palm, and massage onto a DRY face in circular motions
- facial massage: massage for 2 minutes. do NOT skip this part, this is when the cleansing oil really works its magic - dissolving build-up and nourishing the skin with powerful nutrients. think of this as a time to relax and massage away the stresses of the day — like a mini at-home spa treatment!
- wipe away: use a damp + warm clean washcloth or cleansing pad to gently wipe away impurities + excess oil with washcloth. no need to scrub too aggressively here — a few gentle sweeps of the face will do the trick
- finish: you can choose to double cleanse with our Oats + Honey Cleansing Grains, or finish with a spritz with a hydrosol or toner, and seal in moisture with your favorite facial serum

✨ Cleansing Grains...ever heard of them? Revolutionize your cleansing routine with these nourishing powders to prevent overly drying your skin, while purifying your complexion.
This dry powder turns miraculously milky once a few drops of water are added. Cleansing grains are wonderful to gently clean skin without stripping away your skins natural barrier.

The Benefits:
colloidal oatmeal: not only has colloidal oatmeal been used for centuries to help sooth skin, it also has natural saponins making it an amazing mild cleanser without over drying
kaolin clay: this mild clay not only absorbs excess oils, but it also gently exfoliates and polishes your skin by sloughing away dead skin cell build-up
coconut cream: coconut milk contains essential amino acids with antioxidant benefits providing not only moisture to the skin, but also nourishment for a dewy, fresh complexion

tapioca powder: also know as cassava flour, this light powder helps to absorb excess oil and brighten skin with gently exfoliation
essential oil blend: our blend of lavender and frankincense oils is not only calming for your mind, but is rejuvenating as well. lavender oil naturally cleanses your skin, while frankincense helps to minimizes the look of wrinkles and fine lines
The Ritual:
- oil-cleanse if necessary: remove any make up by oil cleansing with our Nourishing Cleansing Oil before, if needed
- let’s begin: sprinkle 1/2 to 1 teaspoon of cleansing grains into the palm of your hand. drizzle with just enough water to form a thin, milky paste, adding only a few drops at a time.
- gently exfoliate: gently massage onto your face in small, circular motions over the forehead, t-zone, chin and cheeks. avoid or VERY gently brush over the eye area, this area if very delicate
- rinse: clean off with warm water and pat the face dry
- finish: spritz with a hydrosol or toner, and seal in moisture with your favorite facial serum
