Look at these three magic machines. When you turned one of the knobs, a straight line traveled horizontally. The other knob made the line go vertically. If you toggled both knobs at once, you could get a squiggly line. Turn the Etch A Sketch over, shake, and your drawing is gone so you could start again. Imagine the hours of fun we had back then.
Unfortunately, these three incredible drawing machines don't work anymore. Sometimes when you turn one of the knobs on two of the machines you can see some faint lines. You can see the remnants of the drawings of decades past, but alas, you won't be able to realize their former potential.
