Exterior is newly polished with Maas Metal Polish and has no silver loss, dents or pitting. The inner plate - which holds the butter over ice - is in good condition with minimal pitting and silver loss. The inner bowl shows the same type of wear, but given the age of this piece, I consider the losses minimal. Excellent condition for its age. A lovely and useful piece.
